diabolo_simulate — DRIVE diabolo op

• Data kinds: signal × signal × any × scalar × scalar × table → table

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.diabolo_simulate(x0, v0, sticks, t_end: 'float', dt: 'float', params: 'dict', *, model: 'str' = 'paper', omega0: 'float' = 0.0, mode0: 'str' = 'on_string', gvec=None, topology: 'bool' = True, plane_rule: 'str' = 'paper', rotation: 'str' = 'paper', flying_rule: 'str' = 'paper') -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import diabolo; diabolo.diabolo_simulate(x0, v0, sticks, t_end: 'float', dt: 'float', params: 'dict', *, model: 'str' = 'paper', omega0: 'float' = 0.0, mode0: 'str' = 'on_string', gvec=None, topology: 'bool' = True, plane_rule: 'str' = 'paper', rotation: 'str' = 'paper', flying_rule: 'str' = 'paper') -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("diabolo_simulate"))

Usage

Advances the diabolo up to t_end in steps of dt under the stick motion sticks.

sticks = a name ("fixed" / "linear_accel" / "swing" / "throw" / "vertical_axis"), {"kind": 名前, 引数…}, a callable t ↦ (2, 3), or a fixed (2, 3). model = "paper" (the paper's analytic model, diabolo_dynamics_step) / "exact" (the unilateral constraint of an inextensible string via RATTLE, with tension. Stick velocity by central difference). topology only affects exact (True = the string has no effect above the plane through the sticks).

Returns {"t", "x", "v", "omega", "mode", "tension", "energy", "sticks"} (energy in J; tension only for exact, NaN for paper). Raises ValueError: misspelled model, t_end < 0 / dt ≤ 0, too many steps (> 2,000,000), stick-motion specification, params.
