dome_contact_image — DRIVE tacdome op

• Data kinds: scalar × scalar → image2d

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.dome_contact_image(a: 'float', pitch: 'float', n: 'int' = 128, centre=None, fg: 'float' = 1.0, bg: 'float' = 0.12, footprint: 'float | None' = None, outside: 'float' = 0.0, noise: 'float' = 0.0, seed: 'int' = 0, ss: 'int' = 8) -> 'np.ndarray' (to call the implementation directly, import tacdome; tacdome.dome_contact_image(a: 'float', pitch: 'float', n: 'int' = 128, centre=None, fg: 'float' = 1.0, bg: 'float' = 0.12, footprint: 'float | None' = None, outside: 'float' = 0.0, noise: 'float' = 0.0, seed: 'int' = 0, ss: 'int' = 8) -> 'np.ndarray'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("dome_contact_image"))

Usage

Contact image taken from inside the dome (contact area is bright; an idealization of frustrated-total-internal-reflection illumination). Float of shape (n, n).

Disc of radius a [m] = fg, the rest of the dome's base circle (footprint [m]; None means the whole area) = bg, outside = outside. Edges are anti-aliased by the coverage of pixels split into ss × ss (no interpolation). centre = (row, column) [px] (default is the centre + a sub-pixel offset of 0.37, −0.21). noise = σ of per-pixel normal noise. Raises ValueError: a or pitch ≤ 0, n < 16, ss < 1, disc extends beyond the window, fg ≤ bg.
