traffic op• Data kinds: any → any
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.idm_equilibrium_gap(v, *, v0: 'float', T: 'float', s0: 'float', delta: 'float' = 4.0) (to call the implementation directly, import drivetraffic; drivetraffic.idm_equilibrium_gap(v, *, v0: 'float', T: 'float', s0: 'float', delta: 'float' = 4.0); from the registry, opsdrive.get("idm_equilibrium_gap"))
Equilibrium gap of the IDM s_e(v) = (s0 + v T) / sqrt(1 − (v/v0)^δ) (0 ≤ v < v0).
Obtained by setting idm_accel = 0 with Δv = 0 and solving (s* = s0 + vT). It diverges as v → v0 (at the desired speed no gap is needed = the vehicle ahead is infinitely far). Independent of a and b.
Gate: when the leading vehicle drives at constant speed, it agrees with the gap that idm_platoon_simulate converges to within rtol 1e-6.
Raises ValueError: v < 0 or v ≥ v0.
Empty input (v with 0 elements) raises ValueError.
