world op• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.load_asset(name: 'str', dims=None, *, root=None, paint=None) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import driveworld; driveworld.load_asset(name: 'str', dims=None, *, root=None, paint=None) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("load_asset"))
Loads a bundled asset as a mesh dict: {"V", "F", "color", "label", "name", "dims"}.
Converts to z-up, fits the box dimensions per axis to dims (default = the real dimensions in ASSETS), and places the origin at the centre of the box's bottom face. An unknown name or dimension ≤ 0 raises ValueError. The same name is read only once (cache).
paint: car body colour (a name from CAR_PAINTS or (r, g, b), None = original colour). Only the body faces are repainted; glass, tyres and lamps stay as they are, and the texture shading (brightness ratio) is preserved. Police cars and taxis (where the paint carries meaning) and non-cars raise ValueError.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
