long_params — DRIVE long op

• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.long_params(mass: 'float' = 1300.0, c_rr: 'float' = 0.012, cda: 'float' = 0.65, rho_air: 'float' = 1.2, a_drive_max: 'float' = 3.0, a_brake_max: 'float' = 6.0, reaction: 'float' = 0.75, mu: 'float' = 0.8, a_creep: 'float' = 0.3, g: 'float' = 9.80665) -> 'Dict[str, float]' (to call the implementation directly, import drivelong; drivelong.long_params(mass: 'float' = 1300.0, c_rr: 'float' = 0.012, cda: 'float' = 0.65, rho_air: 'float' = 1.2, a_drive_max: 'float' = 3.0, a_brake_max: 'float' = 6.0, reaction: 'float' = 0.75, mu: 'float' = 0.8, a_creep: 'float' = 0.3, g: 'float' = 9.80665) -> 'Dict[str, float]'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("long_params"))

Usage

Parameters of the longitudinal motion (all defaults are assumptions; sources are in the module docstring).

Parameters

mass : vehicle mass [kg] (> 0). Affects only the air-drag coefficient k = ρ_air C_d A / (2 m).

c_rr : rolling-resistance coefficient (≥ 0, literature values 0.010–0.015)

cda : C_d × frontal projected area [m²] (≥ 0. 0 = no air drag)

rho_air : air density [kg/m³] (≥ 0)

a_drive_max, a_brake_max : drive and braking limits [m/s²] (> 0). The actual limit is further capped at μ g cos θ.

reaction : reaction time (free running) [s] (≥ 0)

mu : road–tyre friction coefficient (> 0. dry 0.7–0.8, wet 0.4–0.6 —— to be confirmed)

a_creep : AT creep drive [m/s²] (≥ 0. only while holding)

g : gravitational acceleration [m/s²] (> 0)

Returns

dict : same keys as the arguments + k (air-drag coefficient [1/m]).

Raises ValueError: non-finite or out of range.
