tacdome op• Data kinds: scalar × scalar × table → table
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.mdr_spring_bed(delta: 'float', L: 'float', lin: 'dict', n_springs: 'int' = 4000) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import tacdome; tacdome.mdr_spring_bed(delta: 'float', L: 'float', lin: 'dict', n_springs: 'int' = 4000) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("mdr_spring_bed"))
Directly integrates a 1D array of nonlinear springs with the midpoint rule (second (independent) implementation of the closed forms largedef_correction / largedef_radius_ratio).
Springs x ∈ [0, a_L] (one side, force doubled): MDR cross-section g = g_coef·xᵖ, length ℓ = L − g, stretch λ = (L − δ)/ℓ, force E*·dx·ℓ·(λ⁻² − λ)/3 (in the linear limit E*·dx·(δ − g) = MDR), width scaled by λ^{−1/2}. For a flat punch g = 0 (all λ = 1 − d). Returns: x, g, length, stretch, width_factor, x_deformed (cumulative width = position after deformation), F, F_lin, kappa (= F/F_lin), a, radius_ratio (= a/a_L), strain_max, spring_force (dF/dx). Raises ValueError: n_springs < 16, δ/L outside (0, 1).
