tacdome op• Data kinds: text × scalar × scalar → table
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.powerlaw_linear_contact(shape: 'str', size: 'float', Estar: 'float', p: 'float | None' = None) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import tacdome; tacdome.powerlaw_linear_contact(shape: 'str', size: 'float', Estar: 'float', p: 'float | None' = None) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("powerlaw_linear_contact"))
Linear solution for pressing a power-law profile f(r) = c·rᵖ with a flat plate (Eqs. 1 and 5): F_L = C·δⁿ, a_L = D·δ^{1/p}, n = 1 + 1/p.
shape: "sphere" (size = radius R, parabola c = 1/(2R), C = (4/3)E*√R, D = √R = Hertz) / "cone" (size = flank slope tanα = height/base radius, C = 2E*/(π tanα), D = 2/(π tanα)) / "punch" (flat-ended cylinder, size = radius a0, n = 1, C = 2E*a0, constant a_L = a0) / "power" (size = c, p required). The 1D section of MDR is g(x) = κ_p c |x|ᵖ, with C = 2E*·p/(p+1)·(κ_p c)^{−1/p}, D = (κ_p c)^{−1/p}.
Returns: shape, p, n, c, kappa_p, g_coef (= κ_p c, 0 for punch), C, D, Estar, size. Raises ValueError: unknown shape (misspelling), size or E* ≤ 0, p missing / out of range for power, p passed for anything other than power.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
