swarmflow op• Data kinds: matrix × any × scalar → image2d
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.swarm_render_overhead(points, shape, res: 'float', center=(0.0, 0.0), diameter_px: 'float' = 3.0, intensity: 'float' = 1.0, background: 'float' = 0.0) -> 'np.ndarray' (to call the implementation directly, import swarmflow; swarmflow.swarm_render_overhead(points, shape, res: 'float', center=(0.0, 0.0), diameter_px: 'float' = 3.0, intensity: 'float' = 1.0, background: 'float' = 0.0) -> 'np.ndarray'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("swarm_render_overhead"))
Individual positions → 1 overhead frame (Gaussian bright spots, diameter = 2 × standard deviation = the PIV convention, same as pivops).
Args:
points: (N, 2) positions [m] (may be empty = background only).
shape: (H, W) [px].
res: pixel size [m/px].
center: world coordinates of the image centre [m].
diameter_px: diameter of a bright spot [px].
intensity: brightness of a bright spot.
background: uniform offset.
Returns:
(H, W) float64.
Empty input (points with 0 elements) returns an empty result (reason: a scene with 0 individuals is legitimate, and a background-only image is the correct answer).
