simcal_simulate — SIMCAL model op

• Data kinds: simmodel → images

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.simcal_simulate(model=None, theta=None, seed=None) -> 'list' (to call the implementation directly, import simcal; simcal.simcal_simulate(model=None, theta=None, seed=None) -> 'list'; from the registry, opssimcal.get("simcal_simulate"))

Usage

Run a simmodel's chain at given knob values -> one 2-D array per condition (images).

theta is {knob: value} in natural units (missing knobs take their initial or fixed value; a calresult is accepted and its theta_hat used). Values outside a knob's range are allowed here (a simulation is not a fit). seed overrides the common-random- number seed of a stochastic model (None = the model's own). Refuses an unknown knob name or a non-finite output.

References (sample data, literature)

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.

• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
