# MiniMindsLab Tag Normalize

MiniMindsLab Tag Normalize provides tiny, deterministic helpers to normalize tag strings and join them into a canonical display form.

## Features

- Split text using configurable separators (default: comma).
- Trim surrounding whitespace.
- Optionally lowercase values.
- Remove empty entries.
- De-duplicate while preserving first-seen order.

## Installation

```bash
pip install minimindslab-tag-normalize
```

## Usage

```python
from minimindslab_tag_normalize import normalize_tags, join_tags
normalize_tags("  Foo, bar ,foo,,Baz ")
# ['Foo', 'bar', 'Baz']
normalize_tags("A| b |a", separators=["|"], lowercase=True)
# ['a', 'b']
join_tags(["x", "y", "x"])
# 'x, y'
```

## API

- `normalize_tags(value, separators=None, lowercase=False) -> list[str]`
- `join_tags(value, separators=None, lowercase=False, joiner=", ") -> str`

`join_tags` accepts either an iterable of strings or a single string input.
