What's the best way to learn Rust?
submitted by rustacean99 to r/rust
I've been programming in Python for 3 years and want to pick up Rust. I've heard the borrow checker is tough at first. Any recommended resources?
I've already looked at the official Rust book but would love community recommendations.

The official Rust Book is the best starting point. After that, try Rustlings for hands-on exercises. The borrow checker clicks once you internalize ownership.

Thanks! I actually started Rustlings already. It's really helpful.

Jon Gjengset's YouTube channel and "Rust for Rustaceans" book are excellent once you get past the basics. Don't rush — let each concept sink in.
