Maya-Voice-Os License (MIT + Mandatory Attribution)
Copyright (c) 2026 Jugal Thakkar

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a
copy of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"),
to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation
the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense,
and/or sell copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the
Software is furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions:

1. ATTRIBUTION (REQUIRED, NOT OPTIONAL)

Any use, deployment, distribution, or derivative of this Software —
whether the source is modified or not, and whether it is exposed to end
users or only used internally — must retain visible credit to the
   original author:

"Built on Maya-Voice-Os by Jugal Thakkar"
(https://github.com/ — add your repo URL here)

This credit must appear in at least one of the following, at the
   integrator's choice:
     - the project's README / documentation, OR
     - an "About" / credits screen or endpoint if the deployment has one, OR
     - source code comments at the top of any file derived from this
       Software.

This requirement applies regardless of how much of the code is changed.
Removing, obscuring, or failing to include this attribution is a
violation of this license and revokes the permissions granted above.

2. NOTICE RETENTION

The above copyright notice, this permission notice, and the Attribution
clause above shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of
   the Software.

3. NO ENDORSEMENT

Attribution required under Section 1 is a factual credit only. It does
not grant, and must not be presented, stated, or implied as, any
endorsement, sponsorship, certification, partnership, or approval by
Jugal Thakkar of any product, service, company, or organization built
on or using this Software. No licensee, integrator, or distributor may
claim or imply that Jugal Thakkar endorses, certifies, is affiliated
with, or otherwise approves of their product or its conduct, beyond the
fact that it is built on this Software, without separate prior written
consent from Jugal Thakkar. The names "Jugal Thakkar" and
"Maya-Voice-Os" may be used only for the factual attribution required
under Section 1 — not in marketing, advertising, or any other material
to imply endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

Any person or entity that uses, deploys, modifies, distributes, or
builds a derivative product on this Software does so entirely at their
own risk, and is solely responsible for that product's and its own
compliance with all applicable law — including, without limitation,
telecom and robocall/consent regulations (e.g. TCPA, TRAI/DND rules and
equivalents), data protection and privacy law, healthcare regulations
(e.g. HIPAA, if used in a healthcare context), and consumer protection
law. Jugal Thakkar bears no responsibility or liability for how this
Software or any derivative is used, configured, marketed, or deployed
by any third party, including for any claims, damages, fines,
regulatory action, or legal proceedings arising from a third party's
use. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any user,
integrator, or distributor of this Software agrees to indemnify,
defend, and hold harmless Jugal Thakkar from and against any claims,
liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal
fees) arising out of or in any way connected with their use,
deployment, modification, or distribution of this Software or any
   derivative product.

5. SAMPLE DATA DISCLAIMER

The playbooks/*.yaml files included with this Software (pricing,
   timing/availability windows, loan/EMI figures, conversion-rate and
other statistics, office locations, and similar specifics) are
illustrative SAMPLE DATA ONLY. None of it represents a real offer,
real pricing, or a real business fact. Anyone deploying this Software
or a derivative for actual use — including any deployment where a
caller may hear or act on this data — is solely responsible for
replacing all such sample values with accurate, current, and
authorized figures before use. Jugal Thakkar bears no liability for
any consequence of unmodified sample data being presented to a real
caller or user; this falls under the indemnification obligation in
   Section 4 above.

6. NO WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY
CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT,
TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE
SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

---
Note: this license is a modified MIT license with added mandatory
attribution, no-endorsement, and indemnification clauses. Because of these
added restrictions it is NOT the standard OSI-approved MIT License, and is
not OSI/FSF "free software" license-compatible in the strictest sense. If
you need a plain OSI-approved license instead, standard MIT/Apache-2.0
still legally require keeping your copyright line in redistributed source,
and Apache-2.0 in particular already includes its own no-endorsement /
trademark clause you could rely on instead of a custom one.

This document was drafted for you, not by a lawyer, and is not legal
advice. License terms like the attribution/no-endorsement/indemnification
clauses above are a reasonable starting point, but their actual
enforceability varies by jurisdiction and situation — have this reviewed
by a lawyer before relying on it, particularly given the regulatory
exposure (telecom/robocall consent rules, data privacy, healthcare
compliance) that a voice-calling product can carry for anyone deploying it.
