{% import "partials/icons.html" as ic %} {# The map a scenario runs on, when it comes from a repository rather than from files on this machine. Outside the scenario form on purpose: these are actions that reach the network, not fields that save as you type. #}

Paste a repository page URL, or use the Map library. The map is downloaded once into ~/autoware_data/maps — the same place Autoware's own setup puts it — and read from there afterwards.

This source names a branch, so every download resolves it again and the map can move under the scenario. Pin it to a commit to keep results comparable across runs.

{% if map_status.needs_opendrive %} {# OpenDRIVE is the one part of the map no repository carries: the roads belong to the CARLA town, so they are read back out of CARLA. Nothing here waits for it -- a scenario is written against Lanelet2 -- so this says what is missing without standing in the way. #}

No OpenDRIVE for this map yet. Editing, the preview and a sweep do not need one; a run reads it from CARLA when it loads the world. Fetch it now to have it cached beforehand.
