# pygal_maps_world_neo-stubs
This package contains PEP 561 type stubs for [pygal_maps_world_neo](https://github.com/manucorsu/pygal_maps_world_neo), my active fork of [pygal_maps_world](https://github.com/Kozea/pygal_maps_world).

They are intended to be used alongside [pygal-stubs](https://github.com/manucorsu/pygal-stubs).

To install, simply `pip install pygal_maps_world_neo-stubs` (or however you normally install a package).

Then, whenever you want to use the World or SupranationalWorld classes, **import them `from pygal_maps_world`** and NOT `pygal.maps.world`. While the latter approach (which is the one shown in [pygal's docs](https://www.pygal.org/en/stable/documentation/types/maps/pygal_maps_world.html)) works at runtime, it will cause static analysis tools to fail to recognize the module, marking your imports with errors and spreading `Unknown` everywhere.

See [pygal_maps_world_neo](https://github.com/manucorsu/pygal_maps_world_neo/blob/master/README.md) and [pygal-stubs](https://github.com/manucorsu/pygal-stubs/blob/main/README.md)' READMEs for more information.

If you want to contribute, read [pygal-stubs](https://github.com/manucorsu/pygal-stubs) CONTRIBUTING.MD; All of the rules and instructions from there also apply here. Thanks!
