Practical 4 — Windows Commands and Network Utilities

Aim
Use Windows CMD commands to inspect system and network configuration.

COMMANDS
```cmd
hostname
ver
systeminfo
ipconfig /all
whoami
 tasklist
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
```

STEPS
1. Open CMD; run `hostname`, `ver`, `systeminfo`, `ipconfig /all`, `whoami`, and `tasklist`.
2. Observe host name, Windows version, system details, IP/MAC/DNS/DHCP configuration, current user and running processes.
3. For DNS/IP troubleshooting, use the relevant `ipconfig` command. Run elevated commands as Administrator when required.

Key point: `release` and `renew` affect the network adapter's DHCP address; use them only when appropriate.
