What If? How do changes affect ridehail outcomes?

Click the "Baseline" button above to run a baseline simulation, then change one or more of the settings and run a Comparison to see how those changes affect outcomes for drivers, passengers, and platforms.

The baseline always copies the current settings from the Experiment tab, so set those up first. If the Experiment tab has Free Entry & Exit enabled, the comparison controls let you adjust fare, commission, reservation wage, and demand. Otherwise, they let you adjust vehicle count, demand, inhomogeneity, and max trip length.

You can see the detailed settings used in the table below once you start the simulation. The Measures table shows the simulation outcomes.
