Subscribe to a channel/playlist/collection URL and it stays auto-indexed: "Sync now" re-runs the matching backend's archive() for every subscription, which dedupes on its own — only new uploads get added.

For unattended periodic scanning (no browser needed), run media-archivist sync-subscriptions --interval 3600 under systemd or docker — see the CLI docs.
