 CLINICAL INDICATION:  ___-year-old intubated, question pneumonia.
 
 Comparison is made to the patient's prior study of ___ at 3:20 a.m.
 
 Portable semierect chest film, ___ at 4:40 a.m. is submitted.
 
 IMPRESSION:
 
 1.  No pneumothorax. Endotracheal tube, nasogastric tube, internal jugular central line are unchanged in position. Overall cardiac and mediastinal contours are unchanged. There is improving mild-to-moderate interstitial pulmonary edema. There is layering left effusion with associated retrocardiac opacities most likely representing compressive atelectasis, although superimposed pneumonia or aspiration should also be considered.
