 REASON FOR EXAM: Intubated patient with pneumonia.

 Large right pleural effusion with adjacent opacities, could be due to atelectasis or pneumonia, has increased. Left lower lobe opacity has also increased, a combination of effusion and adjacent consolidation. There has been interval mild increase in mild vascular congestion. Cardiomediastinal contours are unchanged with mild cardiomegaly. Right peripheral inserted catheter tip is in the right axillary vein. ET tube is in standard position. NG tube tip is out of view below the diaphragm.
