FINAL REPORT
HISTORY: Respiratory failure, status post intubation.
CHEST, SINGLE AP PORTABLE VIEW.

FINDINGS:

There is cardiomegaly, with a calcified, mildly ectatic, unfolded aorta, and an enlarged left pulmonary hilum.
An NG tube is present, tip extending beneath diaphragm, off film.
No gross left effusion.
There is background COPD.
Patchy opacities in the left infrahilar region are similar to prior.
Compared to the prior film, there has been partial reexpansion of previously seen right base collapse.
An ET tube is present, tip in satisfactory position approximately 3.6 cm above the carina.
There is upper zone redistribution, without overt CHF.
Possible small right effusion.

COMPARISON: ___. Note is made that the report from the ___ chest CT referred to bilateral subsegmental lower lobe aspiration or mucous plugging and small bibasilar nodular opacities consistent with aspiration or infection.
Small right and trace left effusions.
