FINAL REPORT
REASON FOR EXAMINATION: Evaluation of the patient after aortic repair with reexploration for bleeding and after sternal closure and chest tube removal.

As compared to ___ radiograph obtained at 12:34 p.m.

Bilateral effusions are present, at least moderate associated with lung consolidations.
There is slight interval progression of pulmonary edema.
Distended mediastinum is unchanged.
The right chest tube and the left chest tube have been discontinued. There is no interval substantial increase in pleural effusion and no interval appearance of pneumothorax.
The ET tube tip, the NG tube and the left subclavian line appear to be unchanged in appearance.
