to_points — 3D transform op

Data kinds: voxel × points × mesh × depth × gaussianspoints

Call: import fuse3d; fuse3d.to_points(data, kind, samples=20000, **kw) (or ops3d.get("to_points"))

Usage

Any 3-D structure → a point set (the common representation). It funnels all five structures into one entry point.

References (sample data, literature)

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
