thinning_golay — 2D region op

Data kinds: regionregion

Call: fullseye.apply(img, "thinning_golay", a=0.5, b=0.5) (the 2-D model is one image plus two scalar knobs a,b∈[0,1])

HALCON equivalent: thinning_golay (the HALCON reference is a useful guide to its meaning and parameters)

thinning_golay: 入力 → 出力

*The figure is the real output on a synthetic 128×128 input. Left: input, right: output (a non-image return value is shown as the value itself).*

Usage

Thins a region. The implementation uses skimage's `thin` (Guo-Hall-type iterative thinning), repeated until the region is completely 1 pixel wide; a and b are unused.

Try it in Studio

The program below has been verified to run (same input as the figure). In Studio's help this block becomes buttons that load and run it on the spot.
